q1sp: ruin of the fae realm
A downloadable level
this is a 1 minute long quake map made over a weekend + a few days. it's just a basic 'run forward and shoot things' sort of map, but hopefully it's fun enough
i wanted to just use a bunch of hexagons and slap some of makkon's great textures onto them to keep things chunky and broad brush strokes looking rather than trying to fiddle with details. think i made something that's kinda pretty even though if it's crudely fashioned

Install instructions
to play this level, extract the contents of the .zip file into your \Quake\Id1\maps\ directory, load quake, press ~ to open the console, and type "map potluck_scampie" into the console. this should run in essentially any quake engine that supports colored lighting and fog
